Stlo — pronounced es-tee-lo — comes from the Spanish word estilo, meaning style.

But for me, it’s never just been about how it looks. It’s about hot it feels—and how well it fits who you are.

I started barbering in Spain, then worked across the UK and Dunedin before landing in Wānaka, where I’ve built a barber studio focused on slowing down and doing things properly.

At STLO, you’ll choose a time, not a type. 30, 45 or 60 minute time slots, depending on the cut, the detail or how long it’s been. Whether it’s a tidy-up, a fade, or a full cut and beard trim, you’ll get the time you need with no short cuts or double bookings.

This is a space for cuts that grow out well, feel intentional and make you feel like you.
